“ I valet parked bc of the location. It was easy to find. The service was absolutely amazing. Every waiter/buser/server were so attentive and great at what they do. The food was amazing. We had a few cut rolls and appetizers. Loved the house saki as well. Ambiance was chill but do come dressed nice enough. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars bc there was a tent situation like back in covid days but luckily I found my friends inside the actual restaurant. Not sure how that seating goes. ”

“ Food: 5 Mics Service: 5 Mics Ambiance: 5 Mics Food: All the sashimi melts in your mouth like butter. The fish is fresh and prepared with various homemade sauces and fresh vegetables. The spinach salad was delectable, every bite, every crunch of tanginess and sweetness had me wanting more. The sushi was preparation was expertly put together and pleasing to the eyes. Every dish that comes out teases your palate wanting more. Service: Above and beyond professional. The servers continued to fill my tea. My tea was never half as empty. Each dish was explained to detail, history and ingredients. Ambiance: Matsuhisa is under construction and we had a large party. We were in a tent that was meticulously set up. The food had my mind off the idea of us in a tent. I can't wait to visit the new establishment when it's completed. All in all, make your way to this establishment to enjoy an unforgettable experience...and keep coming back... ”

“ Service is great! The sushi, et al, is exactly the quality you would expect. The facility and the ambiance are...well let's say eclectic...spartan to say the least! I have felt more warm and comfortable at various Waffle Houses throughout the country! It's very much an "Emperor has no clothes" situation. Most patrons are too pretentious to accept that the place is the equivalent to a double wide trailer home! (Possibly smaller). I will still give it for stars...but in truth that's in homage to the brand, not this particular location. Hey, it's LA! ”

“ Went to the Spanish Consulate for business ( 2 miles away) and had lunch here. Best sashimi and sushi I ever tried in LA. Every dish is fresh and delicious, pricy but worth try. ”

“ Deeeeee-licious! Took my friend out to an appreciation dinner and he said, "it was the BEST sushi I've EVER HAD" so looks like I showed the right amount of gratitude. Everything was soooo fresh! Service was friendly, helpful and advised us during our entire experience. The Yuzu Margaritas were suspiciously addicting...so good we stayed just a little past close. Matsuhisa won't let you down and best believe you will not leave with a frown . ”

“ If you can afford to eat here, you need to come enjoy the excellent sushi and cooked dishes here. An unassuming restaurant considering it's Beverly Hills, with fast (though brusque) service and a very diverse menu. The elevated Japanese food you would get at Nobu (same owner) but in a much less pretentious space. Every bite was super high quality from the perfectly crisped crispy rice and spicy tuna (best version of this dish I've ever had), the baked crab hand roll (ugly presentation but very tasty), nicely grilled A5 wagyu (get it with NO SAUCE, the miso did not work and I am so glad I asked for it on the side even if the server was skeptical, lol), yummy black miso cod, buttery uni donburi ($$$$$), and rock shrimp tempura that was a big hit. I would recommend skipping the tempura as it is no better than your neighborhood Japanese spot and there are more fun things to try on the menu. The oysters are also a skip. ”
